Morris Island Conservation Area is located along the Ottawa River near the community of Fitzroy Harbour. This 47 hectare site consists of forested woodlands and wetlands. With 6 km of trails, this beautiful island encourages you to enjoy the best of Ontario’s weather throughout the seasons: Hike, canoe, kayak, dog walk, jog, fish, snowshoe, cross country ski and much more. Morris Island Conservation Area is managed by MVCA and jointly owned by Ontario Power Generation and the City of Ottawa.

Passes can be purchased at our pay machine as you enter the conservation area. Our pay machine takes coins and credit only. Payment is required at the Mill of Kintail and Morris Island at a per-vehicle price. Day passes are valid for four hours. Annual passes can also be purchased online. Visit the Passes page for all current pricing. All fees support ongoing maintenance at your conservation areas.
