When visiting a Conservation Area, please remember, take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints.
You may encounter wildlife in these natural areas such as bears, foxes, coyotes, skunks, deer and porcupines.
MVCA operates five Conservation Areas that are open to the public. They are open daily from dawn until dusk. Please be prepared to take your garbage with you and clean up after your pet. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Payment is required at the Mill of Kintail and Morris Island ($6/vehicle). Day passes are valid for four hours. Annual passes can also be purchased for $46 + HST per pass. All fees support ongoing maintenance at your conservation areas.
