MVCA undertakes a variety of projects each year to support achievement of the goals and objectives set out in the 2021-2025 Corporate Strategic Plan.
The following is a selection of ongoing and recent projects being carried out at MVCA.

- Detailed design of the Kashwakamak Lake Dam (see below for more details)
- Floodplain Mapping: Fall River, Upper Feedmill, Kinburn, Shirley’s Brook, and Tributaries A, B, and C to the Carp River
- Various Dam Safety Improvements at Lanark Dam
- Mill of Kintail Master Plan Update
- Replacement of section of the Purdon boardwalk and stairs
- ARO study of structures at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area
- Bridge improvements at Morris Island Conservation Area
- Accessibility improvements at the Mill of Kintail Education Centre
- Accessibility study at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area
- Review Secondary Entrance at the Mill of Kintail Gate House
