MVCA is forming a Working Group to determine if there is a financially sustainable way for the collections of R. Tait McKenzie and James Naismith to remain at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area post 2028.  MVCA’s Board of Directors approved the Terms of Reference at its meeting on October 20, with a variety of groups to be invited to participate.  Staff will also request an extension to a provincial deadline to submit an updated museum strategic plan to allow time for Working Group activities to occur.  An information session will be scheduled in November to support community efforts to develop options for assuming ownership and management of the collections.  Learn more.
