Invasive Phragmites Working Group

Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority is excited to announce the launch of the Mississippi Valley Invasive Phragmites Working Group.

YOU are invited to join the working group to share your insights and expertise, and help us effectively monitor and manage Invasive Phragmites. The purpose of the group is to coordinate monitoring, mapping, and educating the community on Invasive Phragmites--recognized as Ontario’s worst invasive species.

Members are expected to participate in 2 to 3 meetings annually and assist in guiding our priorities and plans. Our kick-off meeting will take place on Friday, November 14th at the MVCA office, located at 10970 Highway 7, Carleton Place. The meeting will run from 9 AM to 12 PM, followed by lunch and networking opportunities. A virtual attendance option is available if needed. Please confirm your interest and attendance below
