Mill of Kintail 50th Anniversary Event

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us in celebrating a milestone. MVCA and the Mill of Kintail are proud to announce the 50th anniversary for the R. Tait McKenzie and Dr. James Naismith Museum, and we would be honored if you could join us for a special celebration.

The museum is located in the former Woodside grist mill on the Indian River constructed in 1830 by John Baird. McKenzie who purchased the mill in 1931 and converted it into a summer home and studio, naming it the Mill of Kintail.

To mark this occasion, we have planned an event that reflects our commitment to sustainability and nature. The event will take place on Sunday, August 20th, 2023 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area.

MVCA has planned a variety of activities and experiences that will immerse you in nature while celebrating the museum. From a guided nature walk to musical entertainment and family fun events, our goal is to provide a unique and unforgettable experience that celebrates our commitment to the environment and our community.

We hope that you can join us for this special occasion and would like thank you for being a valued part of our journey. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Detailed schedule to follow. Contact info@mvc.on.ca for additional information.
