MVCA operates six Conservation Areas that are open to the public. They are open daily from dawn until dusk. When visiting a Conservation Area, please remember, take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. Please be prepared to take your garbage with you. Dogs (and their owners!) are welcome at all our conservation areas. We do ask that you pick up after them and keep a few things in mind when you come to visit us; for you, your dog and all our other visitors’ enjoyment.
Payment is required at the Mill of Kintail and Morris Island ($7/vehicle). Day passes are valid for four hours and can be purchased from the parking meter at the Mill of Kintail and Morris Island with coins, credit and debit.
Annual Passes can also be purchased as detailed below.
By purchasing an annual pass, you not only receive access to all six conservation areas year round (including the R. Tait McKenzie and Dr. James Naismith Museums at the Mill of Kintail), you are also assisting with the maintenance and upgrades required to keep these sites open for all users to enjoy for years to come.
