About White Lake
White Lake is a warm water lake located in the Township of Central Frontenac. Designated as a Fish Sanctuary, White Lake hosts the Ministry of Natural Resources Fish Hatchery. It has an elevation of 213 metres above sea level. The perimeter of the lake is 8.1 kilometres and the deepest point is 29.6 metres.
White Lake supports a warm water fishery, in particular; Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye and Yellow Perch.
At last count in 1970, there were approximately 14 cottages on the lake.

Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority and its partner, the Mississippi Valley Lake Stewardship Network, are taking action through Watershed Watch, a program designed to protect and enhance the environmental health of lakes within the watershed. The monitoring results are posted as State of the Lake Reports. Each lake in the program is sampled every five years.
