Make Your Holiday Memories at the Mill of Kintail
There is fun for everyone at Kintail Country Christmas; the place to be with family this holiday season.
Come to the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area on Saturday, December 12 from 11 am-3 pm. Enjoy wagon rides, a nature scavenger hunt, holiday music, crafts, photos with Santa, and stories by the fire.
Kids will love the new craft centre hosted by the North Lanark Regional Museum where they can create special gifts for mom and dad and not break the piggy bank.
“I look forward to this event every year. I see happy parents and happy children. This is the perfect site for kids to run around and let off some energy and still have a chance to sit on Santa’s knee, listen to a Christmas story, or make a craft,” says Stephanie Kolsters, the event coordinator.
Kintail Country Christmas is in its eighth year and has become a tradition for many families.
“We encourage visitors to make the day what they want it to be, creating their own great memories of Kintail Country Christmas.”
The event has become a tradition for both the visitors and the volunteers who help make the day special. The Mississippi Valley Field Naturalists, Mississippi Mills Museums, The Friends of the Mill of Kintail and MVCA staff, family and friends all contribute to this special day each year.
